Kindergroup is no doubt on Santa’s nice list this year after organizing another fun Santa Day. They asked me to pass along these words of thanks.
Last Saturday, Southborough was once again graced by the arrival of Santa Claus via helicopter. Approximately 200 children greeted him on St. Mark’s field and waited patiently to visit with Santa at the Community House. Some came prepared with lists, pictures, and very specific instructions for jolly St. Nick. Others approached hesitantly, while others flat out cried. What they all had in common was an awestruck respect for the man in the red suit. Carrie Rowan and her Merry Go Music pals entertained the children with holiday music. Each child left with a keepsake picture of him/herself with Santa and wonderful memories!
It was a great day in Southborough thanks to the generosity of many local businesses. Kindergroup looks forward to organizing this day each year, but could not host this event without the support of sponsors. This is truly a community event, and we thank the following business for their generosity and support:
Mr. Yanai | Capital Group Properties | Brendon Properties | Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, Kristine Shifrin | Fair and Yeager Insurance Agency | Global Real Property Solutions | Southborough Village Preschool | Ted’s of Fayville | W S Drowne Insurance | McCarthy Pools | Tomasso Trattoria | Stop and Shop – Westboro | SouthboroughVetHospital | Middlesex Savings Bank – Southborough | Southborough House of Pizza | nancy gould photography | Friends of Southboro Recreation | Marilyn Green RE/MAX Signature Properties | Miss Tanya’s Family of Nursery Schools | Starbucks – Southborough | Marlborough Savings Bank | Falconi Brothers | Tatnuck Bookstore | Panera | Phaidra Salon | J & J Automotive | Wee Care for Little People | Panzano Market
And lest you think it was only the kids who enjoyed visiting with Santa, think again:
