No doubt you or someone you know has a horror story about their commute to work yesterday morning. Like everywhere else, roads in Southborough were slick. The fire department said it responded to two car accidents related to the storm.
Both accidents happened during the morning commute, and both involved cars crashing into telephone poles.
Shortly after 8:00 am yesterday, a car on Pine Hill Road hit a telephone pole. One person was injured in the accident. Then at around 8:30 am, a car crashed into a pole on Northboro Road. There were no injuries, but the pole split causing wires to hang over the road. Northboro Road was closed for several hours while the pole was replaced.
