Several residents — myself included — had the thrill of spying a pair of coyotes frolicking on the ice off White Bagley Road on Sunday morning. They were way out in the middle of the reservoir on the east side of White Bagley, making it difficult to see them in detail with the naked eye. Lucky for us, My Southborough reader George was also there with his camera (complete with telephoto lens) and sent in these shots.
George says the photo of the two coyotes together is a composite, so the background is a bit off. When I saw them, the pair was playing quite close together, so the photo is not unrealistic. Click an image to enlarge.
These are fabulous pictures, I love the composite because it shows the two together. George is one of my favorite persons in the whole world and it’s nice to see his contribution! He’s my Dad!
What beautiful animals and a necessary asset to Southborough’s eco system.
