After being closed on Thursday because of snow and ice accumulation on its roof, Trottier Middle School will reopen on Friday. But not all of the building will be usable.
Superintendent Charles Gobron said in a message to parents that snow drifts and ice accumulations have caused some damage to the roof. Plans are underway to repair the damage, but six classrooms will be closed as a precaution, he said.
Clearance to open the building was given by town safety officials who Gobron said worked closely with the schools on the roof issue.
