I just received word that CSX will meet with the Westborough Conservation Commission tonight about their proposed chemical transfer station on Walkup Drive, about a mile from the Southborough border. It’s a project that has some in Southborough concerned.
The meeting is open to the public, and you can attend and speak (or just listen) even if you’re not a Westborough resident. It starts at 7:00 pm in Room 23 of the Forbes Municipal Building at 45 W. Main Street.
CSX is expected to file plans with the Westborough Planning Board and Board of Selectmen on February 22, so more meetings on the project are to come.
