The main entrance to the Southborough Library will be closed until further notice. Library Director Jane Cain said water dripping off the roof and then freezing on the granite steps was making for a dangerous situation. The decision was made to close the steps as a precaution.
Patrons can enter the library through the side door off Route 85 near the parking lot. There is a stairway and elevator at the entrance for access to the second floor.
