Happy April Fool’s Day, everyone. Mother Nature proved she’s not above a good laugh every now and again, as those of us in Southborough woke up to several inches of wet, heavy snow. My careful scientific analysis (i.e., a ruler stuck in the snow) suggests we got five or six inches of the white stuff.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t bear to drag my shovel out one more time this season. I’m just going to wait until it melts.
I did manage to get out there with my camera, though. Have a look (click an image to enlarge).
as usual, great pics Susan.
Stunning susan. She has a sense of humor and great design sense. I can’t hate it no matter how much we have had or how late it is in the season. I’m also sure I lost quite a few blooms too. Oh well!
Thanks to you both. I’ve taken so many pictures of snow in the past few months that they’re all beginning to look the same to me!
I heard we were getting snow and I ran outside to cover my blooms with tarps. I planted so many bulbs last year, I had to try to save them. I think it worked – they still got a little smushed from the weight of the snow but I’m hoping they’ll recover!
I too, retired my shovel. And I will not wear a winter coat again, no matter how many layers I have to wear under my pretty spring trench!
