Algonquin students awarded Corridor Nine scholarships

The Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce recently awarded 19 scholarships to graduating seniors, and eight of them went to Algonquin students. Scholarship winners were selected based on scholastic achievement, community and school involvement, work experience, financial need, appearance of application, and an interview.

Algonquin students who were awarded scholarships include Katherine Carrigan, Rachel Gosenhauser, Edward Lowe, Jasmin Martin, Kelsey Mullin, George Ocnos, Katharine Sullivan, and Shannon Temlak.

In it’s 26 years, Corridor Nine has awarded more than $256K in scholarships. This year’s awards totaled $11K.
