You can help the kids going to this year’s Algonquin Junior Prom have a good — and safe — time simply by purchasing peanut butter or milk or frozen peas or whatever happens to be on your grocery list this week.
That’s because Roche Bros. in Westborough is donating a portion of its sales on Friday, April 22 to help fund the Algonquin post-prom party.
All you have to do is shop at Roche Bros. from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday and then give your receipt to one of the Algonquin volunteers on your way out. Roche Bros. will donate 5 percent of all collected receipts toward the post-prom party.
The post-prom party is a school-organized event that extends the fun of prom in a safe, drug-free, and alcohol-free way. It’s entirely funded through donations.
