Advance registration for the annual NECC 5K Walk/Run for Autism ends today at 5:00 pm (click here to register). The race takes place on Saturday, May 7, at 10:00 am starting at Trottier Middle School.
Proceeds from the event benefit NECC’s Annual Fund, which helps provide students with items such as playground equipment, new student cubbies, learning software and upgrades to residential facilities, as well as pool supplies and safety equipment for the Aquatic Center. According to the event website, more than $116K has been raised so far.
If you miss the end of advance registration, not to worry, you can sign up the morning of the race starting at 8:30 am. Find more information at necc.kintera.org/5K.
