The Algonquin Robotics Team is sponsoring an electronics recycling day at Algonquin on Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Here are some of the items they’ll accept, and a few things they won’t:
- Flat monitors, laptops, small printers, keyboards, speakers ($5 each)
- MP3, VCR/DVD/CD players, camera & video equipment ($5 each)
- Computers, large monitors, fax machines, copiers ($10 each)
- Small household appliances ($10 each)
- Televisions ($15 each)
- Large household appliances & console TVs ($20 each)
- No fluorescent bulbs or car batteries; no items containing fuel
Proceeds benefit the robotics team. If the weather cooperates, there will also be a robotics demonstration — bonus!
