Our family wishes to express its most heartfelt sympathies to the Webber family.

Throughout all our years in Southborough, the Chief represented the very best in public service and was an outstanding person.

Our community has lost a wonderful person, friend, leader and fine police officer.

May he Rest in Peace and may his family know that he was admired and respected by so many of us.

I haven’t lived in town long, but I’ve heard such good things about Chief Webber. I wish I had had the chance to meet him. My sincerest condolences go out to his family.

I lived next door to Bill and Kathy when they lived in Upton and they were great neighbors. Bill was really great with kids and my son thought he was wonderful. We were sad to see them go when they had to move to Southboro. My sympathies go out to Kathy and his entire family.

I first met Chief (then Sargeant, I think) Webber in 1980, after reporting a hit and run car accident I witnessed. I was truly impressed by his honesty and tenacity in pursuing this case under tremendous pressure, getting justice for the family. He was one in a million, and I’m so sorry that he and his family were cheated out of many more years together. My deepest sympathies to your family.
