Apparently stealing scrap metal in Southborough doesn’t pay. For the second time in as many months, Southborough police nabbed would-be metal thieves, this time at the old Capasso Farms on Framingham Road. Reports the Metrowest Daily News:
Sgt. Sean James said the caller reported that two men stole scrap metal from a Dumpster on the property and left in a black pickup truck.
James said officers pulled over a truck fitting the caller’s description at the intersection of East Main Street and Framingham Road, and they found more than $250 worth of scrap metal inside.
