Last summer kids participating in the Southborough Library’s summer reading program tore through more than 4,000 books. This year the library is hoping they’ll devour even more.
The theme for this year’s summer reading program is “One World, Many Stories.” Kids are encouraged to keep a reading log to keep track of the books they read and to bring the log into the library when they visit. You can pick up a log in the Children’s Room.
In addition to keeping a log, kids can participate in other activities throughout the summer, including weekly trivia contests, a flag game, library passports, raffles, a hidden bookworm, and more.
“One World, Many Stories” is sponsored by the Southborough Library along with the Massachusetts Library System, the Boston Bruins, and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. Special events are sponsored by the Friends of the Southborough Library.
