The school year in Southborough starts Wednesday, August 31, 2011 and runs through Friday, June 22, 2012. That’s 180 days of school, plus vacations, holidays, and four professional development days. The schedule also builds in five snow days, which we’ll need if this winter is anything like last.
You can see the district calendar below. (Click here for a downloadable PDF version).
Pop quiz: Which month has the most school days? Answer: May, with 22. Which month has the least? April with just 15 days … that is if you don’t count August which only has 1.

The Mary Finn School website (http://www.nsboro.k12.ma.us/finn/) appears down at this time.
Is there any word on the beginning of school (since most of the town is without power?) Thanks.
No word yet, but I’ll let you know as soon as I hear.
Yesterday I may have had a cached search result (the URL above).
This one: http://web.nsboro.k12.ma.us/finn/ is up, and our power is back on, too.
Here’s hoping the first day of school goes great!
