Open Date: Saturday, August 25, 2011
Open Time: 6:00pm
Close Time: Until needed
Location: Woodward School, 28 Cordaville Road, Southborough
Parking: At Woodward School – Space is limited so recommend carpooling

Please pack a “Go Kit” to be ready to immediately evacuate your home. ALL citizens should do this, even if you are not planning to use the shelter, in the event you must evacuate at the last minute.

Include in your “Go Kit” (for each family member): clothes, bedding/sleeping bag, medications, hygiene items, toiletries, baby supplies, snacks, water, books, etc. Basically, pack your “Go Kit” as of your were packing for a 3 day camping vacation.

No pets will be allowed at the shelter. Please make plans to shelter your animals now at a kennel or secure them in your home with food, water, etc. for 72 hours. We are working on an animal shelter but space is very limited. You should pack a “Go Kit” for your pet as well including: food, water, litter, litter box, medications, leash, toys, etc. ALL PETS MUST BE CAGED.

*IMPROTANT ACTION:

We are recommending all citizens planning to use the shelter arrive BEFORE the arrival of the outer bands of the storm. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR HOME DURRING THE STORM – Ride it through sheltered in your home. Call 9-1-1 ONLY if you have an emergency. After the storm you can call 508-485-3235 or dial 2-1-1 (ask for Southborough) for information.
