Flags in Southborough and across the state are flying at half staff today in honor of First Lieutenant Timothy J. Steele of Duxbury. Steele was killed last week in Kandahar province, Afghanistan by an improvised explosive device.
Steele was 25 years old and leaves behind a wife and 1-year-old daughter.
