On Sunday Southborough will join the rest of the nation in remembering the 9/11 terrorist attacks. A ceremony to remember those who lost their lives and honor those who dedicate theirs to protecting our country will take place at 4:00 pm at 9/11 Memorial Field on Acre Bridge Road.
The ceremony will include patriotic music, prayer and reflection, words of remembrance, and reflections on the dedication of the 9-11 Memorial Field.
All Southborough residents are invited to attend, but parking at 9/11 Field is limited, so carpooling is encouraged. There will also be a shuttle provided from the Marlborough Foundry 1/2-mile north of Acre Bridge Road on Route 85.
Since 9/11 Field is artificial turf, only flat-soled shoes will be allowed on the field (no heels). Also, no food or beverage will be permitted.
