Ann E. Downing, 85, devoted mother and grandmother passed away September 15, 2011, after a debilitating illness.
She leaves her daughter, Kathleen Downing of Harwich; daughter and son-in-law Pamela and Jose Leruth of Southborough; grandchildren, Alexander and Caitlin Leruth of Southborough; brother and sister-in-law Robert and Barbara Erwin of Yarmouthport; brother-in-law, Richard Downing of Gilmanton, N. H.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ronald and Alyce Downing of East Sandwich; and several nieces and nephews.
Her family deeply loved her and will cherish her memory forever.
Visiting hours will be from 5-7pm on Sunday, September 18, 2011, at the Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 260 Main St., (Route 28), West Harwich. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at the Holy Trinity Church, Route 28, West Harwich on Monday, September 19, 2011, at 10 a.m. Burial is in Evergreen Cemetery, East Harwich, following the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
