The latest chapter in a sad family drama will play out this week in a Cape Cod courtroom as Southborough resident Treefon Manoloules goes on trial for the 2009 murder of his brother Aris Manoloules. Treefon’s then 17-year-old son Christopher and brother-in-law Robert Upton are also charged in the crime.
Prosecutors believe Christopher, at the time a senior at Algonquin, and Upton went to Aris’ Hyannis vacation home to demand money, and when he didn’t pay, they killed him. While Treefon wasn’t in Hyannis the night of the murder, prosecutors allege he was the “architect” behind the crime.

Please remember, innocent until proven guilty.
