I posted this in the lead up to Summer Nights back in August, but since the event was rescheduled to this coming Friday, it seemed worth posting it again for easy reference.
If you’ll be driving and parking to attend Summer Nights on Sunday Friday (5:00 pm at Neary School), or if you’ll be dropping off the kids and then picking them up afterward, here’s what you need to know.
Event parking
Parking will be available at both the Neary and Trottier school lots, but the access road between the schools will be closed to vehicle traffic, so you’ll need to access Neary via Parkerville Road and Trottier via Deerfoot Road. Parking will not be allowed on the east side of Parkerville Road from Route 30 to John Matthews Road during the event. When exiting from Neary, you’ll be able to take a right turn only onto Parkerville Road.
Pick-up/drop-off
There will be a designated drop-off and pick-up area at Lundblad Field, which is on Parkerville Road just south of the entrance to Neary. Note that you won’t be able to enter either the Neary or Trottier sites until all vehicles have exited after the fireworks.
Summer Nights is Southborough’s annual end-of-summer celebration featuring music, games, food, family fun, and fireworks. The event takes place on Sunday, August 28 (rain date Monday, August 29) Friday, September 30, starting at 5:00 pm at Neary School (map).
Here’s a map that shows the parking locations, as well as where other activities will take place (click to enlarge).
thanks for the second blast about 1:30 am-ruined my sleep!!!! I live miles from Parkerville and did NOT enjoy hearing the ongoing blasting AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m puzzled by this post…I thought Summer Nights was wrapped up around 9 pm?
Thank you to the organizers, volunteers and sponsors for another wonderful Summer Nights! Nothing beats a front row seat to fireworks, friends, music and food! Congrats to ALL!!!!
