Stop & Shop’s Bonus Bucks program starts up again on October 7. It’s a program that lets you earn money for your local school each time you shop at a Stop & Shop store. Even if you registered your card in past years, you need to do it again to participate this year.
Here’s a portion of a post I wrote last year that gives more information on the program and how to participate.
Last year the Southborough schools raised more than $1,000 through Stop & Shop’s A+ Bonus Bucks program. They’re participating again this year and need your help.
All you have to do is register your Stop & Shop card, and each time you use it, the schools will earn Bonus Bucks. Registration doesn’t carry over from year to year, so even if you registered last year, you have to do it again this year. When you register you can choose which of the four Southborough schools you’d like to support.
Stop & Shop gives away about $300K each month, and the number of Bonus Bucks a school has determines how much of the pie the school gets. The program runs through the end of March.
Southborough Organization for Schools (SOS) program coordinator Michelle Brownlee says the more people who participate, the more money the schools stand to earn. “Encourage family, friends and neighbors to sign up for the program, too,” she said in an email.
