WELCH, Barbara E. (Willis) Of South Yarmouth, formerly of Newton, on Nov. 6 at the age of 84 years.
Wife of the late Joseph E. Welch and mother of Romaine M. Welch of Quincy, Mary E. Welch of Smithfield, RI and Joseph E. Welch Jr. and his wife, Denise, of Southborough, MA. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Ryan J. and Meghan C. Welch and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Charles H. Willis Jr.
A funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Wed., Nov. 9, from the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave, S. YARMOUTH followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Highway Chapel, Rt. 28, S. Yarmouth. Friends and relatives are invited to call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, in the funeral home. Burial will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne on Wednesday at 1:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure , 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244.
