Want to learn more about boys youth lacrosse? The Northborough-Southborough Youth Lacrosse Association is holding an information night for new players tomorrow at the Northborough Library. More information on the session, plus details on how to register for the league below.

(Registration also opens to new players in the Northborough-Southborough Girl’s Lacrosse league this week. More details on the blog tomorrow.)

Northborough-Southborough Youth Lacrosse Association (NSYLA) registration for the upcoming Spring 2012 season will take place in November. This is open to boys in both towns in grades 2 through 8.

Registration will be open for the first week (November 2 – 9) only for returning players, and then it will open for all on November 10th. Registration will close November 23rd.

There will be an Information Night on November 9th from 6:30-8PM at the Northborough Library. New and returning Parents and players are invited to come. There will be a brief presentation and then questions are welcome. Details about our program, the sport of lacrosse, equipment, and the league we play in and its’ philosophy are some of the topics we will cover.

Registration is done online at www.nsyla.org. New families are encouraged to come to the information night on November 9th.

We strive to take all boys who wish to play, however we have physical limits due to team size, availability of qualified coaches (head coaches need to know lacrosse, assistant coaches we will train), and availability of field space the towns make available to us. We have ended up with a waiting list each year of boys who tried to register after the registration closed.

Additional information is available on the website, www.nsyla.org.
