When advanced registration closed last night, more than 800 runners and walkers had registered for Thursday’s Gobble Wobble Road Race. The kids’ Fun Run was also nearly full in all age groups. If you haven’t signed up yet and you want to, there’s still a bit of time.
Your safest bet is to stop by the Recreation Department (21 Highland Street) today from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, where organizers will accept new registrations, as well as handle pre-registration pick up for all age groups.
If there’s space, you can also sign up on Thurday at Trottier starting at 7:00 am. The 5K race and 2-mile walk begin at 8:30 am.
If you’re going to the race, don’t forget to bring an item for the southborough Food Pantry (canned chicken & beef stew, dry milk, diapers in sizes 4, 5, or 6, or juice boxes), or for US Troops (body wipes, hand warmers, granola bars, Slim Jims/beef jerky, or instant oatmeal packets).
