Fern Ellen Murray McConville age 88, died Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Tidelands Community Hospice in Georgetown, SC.
Born in Fitchburg, MA, she was the daughter of the late James and Lily Murray. Mrs. McConville was a U.S. Army Nurse serving in WWII. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert McConville and a brother, Thomas Murray.
Survivors include a son, Douglas E. McConville (Jo Anne) of St. Petersburg, FL; a daughter, Patricia A. Ferris (Donald) of Southborough, MA; three brothers, Calton Murray of Gardner, MA, Richard Murray of The Dalles, OR and Robert Murray of Thornwood, NY; 4 grand children and three great grandchildren.
A gathering of friends will be held at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Litchfield/Pawleys Chapel from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 21, 2011.
