With the death of Southborough 12-year-old Eric Green last week, parents and children alike are trying to figure out ways to work through their grief. On Tuesday the Southborough Trauma Response Network will hold an information session to provide parents with strategies for supporting their children during the grieving process.
The Southborough Trauma Response Network is part of Southborough Youth and Family Services. The program’s mission is to provide support for the community after traumatic events, especially those involving children.
The information session starts at 7:00 pm on Tuesday at the Trottier Middle School library. The session will provide information on what to expect in the days, weeks, and months ahead as children deal with their grief. Counselors will be available to answer questions and help parents individualize their responses.
Susan – you are always the link to information that we are needing. Thank you. :)
