The death of 12-year-old Trottier Middle School student Eric Green last week has touched many in this town and beyond, so it’s not surprising to hear a capacity crowd is expected at his funeral today.
The service will take place starting at 1:00 pm at St. Matthew Parish on Southville Road. The church is not large, and those involved in planning the service say once the pews are full, mourners will be asked to stand outside. Audio from the service will be broadcast through outside speakers.
Temperatures today are expected to be below freezing, so please dress for the weather if you’re planning on attending.
Parking will also be limited, so you’re asked to carpool if you can.
A private burial will follow the service, and then the family will return to St. Matthew Parish Center to gather with friends and loved ones to celebrate Eric’s life.
