The annual Southborough Counsel 119 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Competition was held at Trottier last month. About a dozen kids participated. Zach Zides won in the 11-year-old division and Kyle Henderson came in first for the 12-year-olds.
Update 3:20 pm: I just learned that both Zach and Kyle went on to compete in the District Free Throw championship in Milford last week, and both won their respective age groups. That means they’ll be heading to the Regional/State competition next month in Webster. Good luck, boys!
Update 10:00 pm: Turns out there are even more Southborough kids going to the Regional competition. Amanda Carroll (age 12), Connor Black (age 13), and Andrew Warfield (age 14) will also represent their age groups. Best of luck to all!
