Southborough Recreation Director Doreen Ferguson said in a comment on the blog last week that the outdoor rink at Woodward probably will not open this year thanks to a combination of uncooperative weather and overeager adults.
Those of you looking to break out your skates do have another option. The rink at St. Mark’s School will be open to the public during February school vacation. Here’s the schedule:
Monday (2/20): 1:00 – 3:00 pm
Tuesday (2/21): 1:00 – 3:00 pm
Wednesday (2/22): 12:00 – 2:00 pm
Thurday (2/23): 12:00 – 2:00 pm
Friday (2/24): 12:00 – 2:00 pm
The rink is open for free skate only – no sticks/pucks. No rentals are provided, you you’ll need to bring your own skates. The rink is accessed off of School Street (map).
