For the fifth year in a row, Southborough Town House employees are participating in Pansies for Progress, a fundraising drive for the Pancreatic Cancer Alliance. Like last year, funds are being raised in honor of Southborough’s former police chief Bill Webber, who passed away in 2008 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
Past year’s pansy sales have raised more than $1000 to support pancreatic cancer research at UMass Medical School. If you want to help this year, stop by the Town House and order your pansies by Friday, March 30. The cost is $5 for one 4-inch pot or $20 for five 4-inch pots. Checks only please.
Flowers may be picked up at the Town House on Thursday, April 12.
