When it comes to technology in the schools, everyone seems to have an opinion, and the school district wants to hear yours. On Monday they’ll host a public forum on their long-term school technology plan. Details below.
The district administration is looking for input on it’s long-term technology plan.
You are invited to join the conversation about technology in our preK-12 schools on Monday evening, April 2, 2012, from 7p.m. until 8:30 in the library at Algonquin Regional High School.
The Public Schools of Northborough and Southborough would like parents and community members to attend this public forum to discuss the schools’ long-term technology planning efforts. An effective technology plan is one that is based on the shared vision of educators, parents, and community members, and reflects current research and best practices.
Our primary goal in this meeting is to gather feedback from parents and community members about the direction of our technology efforts and the plan itself. Jean Tower, Director of Technology, will make a short presentation. Charles Gobron, Superintendent, and Christine Johnson, Assistant Superintendent, will be on hand to help facilitate the discussion. In addition to gathering community feedback and input, we would like to use this opportunity to begin a volunteer Technology Advisory Committee.
