MARLBOROUGH – Mr. Bang Trinh, 89, of Marlboro and previously Houston, Tx passed away Wednesday, April 4th, 2012 at home with his loving family by his side. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ngoc Thi Luong; his sister Hang Thi Trinh of Vietnam; his 3 sons, Trung Le Trinh and his wife, Anne Marie Hoa Nguyen of Houston, Tx; Khanh Long Trinh and his wife, My Nguyen of Marlboro; Minh Duong Trinh and his wife, Trina Mai of Manhattan Beach, CA; his 5 daughters, Nga Thanh Trinh of Malden; Huong Thanh Trinh and her husband, Gerald Wilfong of Grafton; Chau Thanh Trinh and her husband, Walter McClain of Southboro; Thuy Thanh Trinh and her husband, Thanh Van Dinh of Philadelphia, PA; Tuyen Thanh Trinh of Stow; 13 grandchildren, Matthew Xuan, Julian An, Jonathan Vinh, Peter Quang, Joseph Nguyen Anh, Kevin Khanh Vinh, Nathan Hoang Nam, Kelly Mai Khanh, Charlie Quang, Monica Trang, Kim, Elizabeth Trang, and Emma Tu; Adopted daughter Phung Thuy Nguyen and family; and nephew Son Dang Trinh and family.
He was born in Hon Gay, Vietnam, son of Dang Trinh and Hai Thi Dinh. He immigrated to Worcester in 1975 with his family and sister. Mr. Bang Trinh last worked at Worcester Envelope Co. in Auburn before retiring in 1997. He devoted most of his life to educating his children, and enjoyed photography and gardening.
His funeral is on Wednesday, April 11th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester, with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Vilna Church, 151 Sterling Street, Worcester. Cremation will follow in All Faiths Crematory, Worcester. Calling hours are Tuesday, April 10th from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Bang Trinh’s name may be made to Our Lady of Vilna Church, 153 Sterling Street, Worcester, MA 01610.
