The Southborough Police Department put out this warning on their Facebook page over the weekend:
Communities around Southborough are beginning to experience a high number of motor vehicle break-ins. We will increase police patrols in our town, but we are also urging everyone to make sure that your vehicles are LOCKED, and that expensive items are brought inside your home. Also, do not hesitate to notify us if you observe any suspicious people or vehicles in your neighborhood. Please pass on this advice to your friends and neighbors as well. Thank you.
