If you are considering getting a family dog or cat then I’d highly recommend Baypath. Our family dog was a rescue dog from Baypath and she’s been a wonderful part of our family for five years. Baypath worked with us to find a suitable dog for our family size and the ages of our kids. They don’t just try to unload the dogs, they do a great job of looking out for your family’s need and the welfare of the animal. In addition, Baypath gives the animals a lot of attention and room to exercise – giving the animals the best chance to overcome their tough pasts.

I remember going there because of a cute little dashund or and I believe they through us out, because the cats go best in two’s. My husband mentioned declawing which they are so firmly against. Eventually, we found a barn cat and she still has all her on claws! The shelters around here are very strict in a positive way for the adoptees, educational and I applaud that.
