When Wegman’s opened in Northborough last fall, many of us were so excited we wanted to sing. At Algonquin this week, students will be doing just that when they present “Wegman’s…The Musical!” at the school on Thursday.
Writes the Metrowest Daily News:
Now, for students at Algonquin Regional High School, the mystique around the store that has single-handedly put the town on the map has manifested itself into something new and unusual.
Enter Wegmans, stage right. “Wegmans…The Musical!” is a production of innumerable hours of brainstorming, improvising and fooling around.
It’s a one-night-only celebration of food, love and everything Wegmans — and will take center aisle at Algonquin Regional High School Thursday.
You can read about how the musical came to be in this article by the MWDN or this one by TheDailyNorthborough.com. The show takes place on Thursday, May 10 at 8:00 pm in the Algonquin auditorium. The show is free, but donations will be accepted at the door to support the Algonquin Dramahawks program.
