St. Mark’s Church is hosting a community drive now through June 3 to benefit Brighton-based Cradles to Crayons. Here’s more information on how you can help.
St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Southborough is currently holding a community donation drive to support Cradles to Crayons in Brighton, MA. Southborough residents are invited to drop off new children’s art supplies (glue sticks, crayons, markers, construction paper, etc), new and gently used children’s books, and new children’s socks and underwear at the St. Mark’s Parish Hall at 27 Main Street in Southborough from 9am to 2pm weekdays or on Sunday mornings from 8am to noon, through Sunday, June 3rd.
Cradles to Crayons is a non-profit organization that provides disadvantaged children in Massachusetts, free of charge, with the essential items that all kids need in order to flourish. The organization partners with existing social service agencies to identify need, and is one of the few that is able to quickly assist families in crisis due to displacement by fire or who are fleeing domestic abuse situations.
