Amid the jokes and laughter at Algonquin’s graduation yesterday, a host of speakers shared some simple, but important messages. They talked about kindness, courage, humility, and taking risks – guidance the 343 members of the Algonquin Class of 2012 can carry with them into the world.
Writes the Metrowest Daily News:
Kristen Pompey urged her classmates to take risks, pointing out several standout classmates who have showcased their talents in music and the arts and are poised for success because of it.
“It simply takes a little bit of courage to help us get to that next chapter in our lives,” she said. “It’s up to us to go our there and take that chance to achieve what we never thought was possible.”
