For several years now a committee of volunteers has been working on revamping Southborough’s zoning code. They’ve considered everything from open space protection, to multi-family housing and subdivisions, to commercial development along Route 9. The process will culminate in a vote on the changes at a special town meeting this fall. Before that vote takes place, the Planning Board will hold several public hearings to discuss the changes. The first of those is tonight at the Town House.
(Apologies for the late notice. I only just learned of the hearing.)
You can find a draft of the proposed zoning bylaw on the town website. Tonight’s hearing will take place during the normally-scheduled Planning Board meeting starting at 7:30 pm at the Town House Hearing Room (second floor).
