The Friends of the Southborough Library will hold their annual book sale on Heritage Day, Monday, October 8, and they’re accepting donations of gently-used books and DVDs. You can deliver book donations to the library through 5:00 pm on Saturday, October 6.
To go along with the book sale, the Southborough Library Teens are organizing a cookie sale, and they’re looking for donations, too. Drop off homemade cookies to donate to the sale on Saturday during library hours (10:00 am to 5:00 pm), or early on Monday.
Proceeds from the cookie sale will benefit library programing for teens, while proceeds from the book sale will help support the popular museum pass program, refreshments for various library book groups, and and other programs sponsored by the Friends of the Southborough Library.
The book sale will be held at the Southborough Library on Monday, October 8, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. For more information or to volunteer, contact Library Director Jane Cain at 508.485.5031.
