Pauline A. “Sister’ (Barry) True, 74, of Southborough, died on Thursday, October 18, 2012 after a battle with cancer. She was the wife of the Reginald True who passed away in 1997. Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Edna (Sheridan) Barry.
Pauline was a graduate of St Mary’s High School in Cambridge, and was a home maker until her children were grown. She then worked for the food service at Boston College for over 16 years, retiring in 1998. Pauline enjoyed puzzles, quilting, and trips to Maine.
She is survived by her children, Kevin Simard of Westborough; Michael Simard and his wife Joan of Westfield; Kathleen Simard of Southborough; two sisters, Rose Gomes of Cambridge; Eileen Masci of Somerville; 4 grandchildren, Nycole and Kendal Simard and Maggie and Alison Simard. She is pre-deceased by her brothers, Thomas “Buddy” Barry, Francis “Mickey” Barry, and Robert “Bobby” Barry.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 22, from 5 to 7 PM at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St. Southborough. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 23, at 2 PM at Mount Hope Cemetery, 1048 State Street, Bangor, ME. Memorial contributions may be sent in her memory to Metro West Cancer care Center, 99 Lincoln St. Framingham MA 01702.
