The latest in the popular INSIDE STORY speaker series takes place on Thursday, November 8, at the Southborough Library. Here are the details.
The Southborough Librarys Southborough Business Network (SBN) presents the INSIDE STORY speaker series on Thursday, November 8, at 7:00 p.m. at the Southborough Library, 25 Main Street, Southborough with a talk by Julien Mininberg, President and CEO of Kaz, Inc., Building a $700M Global Business with World-class Brands in Southborough.
Kaz, Inc., founded in 1926, is a global leader in consumer medical devices, water purification and home appliances sold in over 60 countries under popular brand names such as Vicks, Braun, PUR, Febreze and Honeywell. Kaz is a division of Helen of Troy Limited (NASDAQ: HELE). Mr. Mininberg will speak about how his companys commitment to innovation and improving peoples lives with everyday products has led to recognition as a world leader in the markets it serves.
Prior to joining Kaz, Julien Mininberg spent 15 years with Procter & Gamble (P&G), the world leader in consumer packaged goods, and a Fortune 500 multinational corporation. His most recent role at P&G was General Manager for Central America. Throughout his years at P&G, Mininberg earned numerous awards for his work in organizational development, marketing and advertising. He has led seminars on marketing, manufacturing and gender diversity.Mr. Mininberg has served as Vice Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerces Board of Directors in Guatemala, has been an advisor to Guatemalas Minister of Education and advisor to a U.S. delegation for the 2005 CAFTA treaty. Mr. Mininberg is a graduate of Yale College and Yale School of Management, where he serves on the Board of Advisors and is President of its Alumni Association. He is a passionate fisherman and woodworker; he and his wife have three children.
