Southborough police logs (11/9/12 – 11/11/12): Burglary on Johnson Road

After a rash of home break-ins over the summer, it has been a relatively quiet fall, but police report a home on Johnson Road was broken into on Saturday. According to the police report, there were signs of forced entry (although the Metrowest Daily News reports the opposite) and several items were stolen.

Friday, November 9, 2012

  • 0239 hrs – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Woodland Road residence.
  • 0413 hrs – Officers investigated a second 911 abandoned call from the same Woodland Road residence.
  • 0816 hrs – A requested well-being check was conducted on a resident of Ted Lane.
  • 0834 hrs – Officers investigated a third abandoned 911 call from the same Woodland Road residence.
  • 0914 hrs – A Marlborough resident was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked License.
  • 0930 hrs – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Woodbury Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 1140 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Presidential Drive residence.
  • 1331 hrs – Officers investigated a report of a suspicious motor vehicle parked on Constitution Drive. The vehicle and the male party inside, both checked out ok.
  • 1402 hrs – An officer assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 1752 hrs – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 2126 hrs – ARRESTED: A resident of Cherry Street was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault & Battery.

Saturday, November 10, 2012

  • 0132 hrs – A resident of Holliston was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked Registration and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
  • 0206 hrs – ARRESTED: A Marlborough resident was arrested and charged with OUI- Alcohol; Operating a Motor Vehicle without being Licensed; and Marked Lanes Violations.
  • 0823 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Watkins Lane residence.
  • 0945 hrs – Officers conducted a Funeral Escort to St. Anne’s Church.
  • 1120 hrs – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Woodland Road residence.
  • 1203 hrs – Officers investigated a parking complaint on Marlboro Road.
  • 1212 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Pine Hill Road residence.
  • 1748 hrs – Officers investigated a reported burglary at a residence on Johnson Road. Several items were taken, and there were signs of a forced entry to the residence.   • 1841 hrs – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Marlboro Road residence.
  • 2013 hrs – Westborough Police requested Southborough Police check for a missing person at a Turnpike Road business. The officers on scene reported negative findings, and Westborough Police was notified.
  • 2203 hrs – A Framingham resident was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle without being Licensed.

Sunday, November 11, 2012

  • 0054 hrs – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from Woodland Road.
  • 0701 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Wyndemere Drive residence.
  • 1022 hrs – A medical was reported at a River Street business.
  • 1116 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Northboro Road business.
  • 1155 hrs – Officers responded to Asaree Drive for a report of a neighbor dispute. Officers on scene were able to mediate the situation.
  • 1406 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 1501 hrs – Officers responded to a Sears Road residence to assist with a neighbor dispute. The officer was able to mediate the situation.
  • 1722 hrs – A Breakneck Hill resident reported two females had just left the residence after requesting money from the homeowner. A search of the area resulted in negative findings. (more info)
  • 1747 hrs – Officers conducted a requested well-being check on a resident of Middle Road.

This was my house. They did NOT break in on Saturday. It was a break in a few days prior but it took me a few days to realize my home was broken into because it was a very subtle break in.

and YES it was a forced entry and the police are aware of this fact. Check your windows people because the came in and out a window that was locked!
