Freezing rain overnight made for slick roads and a tricky commute for Southborough residents this morning. Treacherous road conditions led Superintendent Charles Gobron to delay school by two hours this morning.
Freezing rain also made for hazardous road conditions on Sunday afternoon. As they were this morning, cars were coated in ice and the roads were slick. A My Southborough reader sent in the photo above of an accident on Route 85 caused by yesterday’s ice. The truck did not fare well, but fortunately there were no injuries.
