Where are the best Christmas lights in Southborough?

Above: A past year’s holiday display at a home on Harris Drive

Driving around Southborough during the holidays to look at Christmas lights is a favorite tradition of mine, one I remember doing with my family as a child. Without fail, every year there are residents that go all-out with their displays.

I admit to not having done much light exploration this year, so perhaps you can all help me – and your other fellow Southboroughites – plan a holiday viewing route by sharing your picks for the best lights in town.

Where do you think the best light displays are? From the elegant to the extravagant, share your favorites in the comments below. Feel free to toot your own holiday horn – anonymously or otherwise – if you think your lights are the best!

The Harris Drive house hasn’t had lights the past two years…though I keep going by, hopeful. My current favorite lit up house is 150 Parkerville Road (south), though I really miss the big green arrow that their neighbors house had last year.

Hello all, Sorry for not coming through the last 2 years, because of health concerns. We have not been able to get it done. We hope to be up and running next year. We really miss collecting toys for tots and seeing all those little faces looking from the passing cars. Please remember that you can drop off unwrapped toys at the Weston State Police Barracks anytime. We’ll keep you informed on the status of next year.

I completely understand – it was awfully generous of you to make such a display and I can’t even begin to contemplate how you installed it all (nor store it the rest of the year)!

I’m sad not more residents decorate. Last year for Christmas we visited my parents and we there were limo rides to take you around town to see all the lights. My kids are so disappointed we can’t do that here. I suppose we could. We could rent a limo and look at the ten houses decorated. Come on, Southborough! Be festive!

My 12 y/o son did ours this year. I was untangling the cords & support strings, next thing I knew, he had everything plugged in ready to go. He receives FULL CREDIT for this year. I am so proud!! :)

The green arrow will be back…some day! We have to keep the town guessing :)
This year, ithe arrow was replaced with a new design, a thirty foot Santa face that covers the entire side of our house.
Happy holidays everyone!

150 Parkerville is definately the best!! So much hard work and determination goes into it!! We were there for the unveiling of the lights this year….it was a great way to start the Christmas season!!
