Organizers have planned a special double bill at Steeple Coffeehouse on Saturday night, one they say was several years in the making. They promise it will be worth the wait.
Taking the stage, located at Pilgrim Church’s Fellowship Hall, will be Were About 9 and Pesky J. Nixon. PJN played at Steeple Coffeehouse in 2010, but events intervened to keep them from returning until now. Were About 9 are first-timers at the Coffeehouse.
It’s a show that promises to be all about fun. “No matter what mood you are in when you enter, you will leave with a smile on your face and a spring in your step,” Steeple Coffeehouse organizers said via email.
Doors open at 7:00 pm and the music starts at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $15 in advance ($12 for students/seniors) or $18 at the door ($15 for students/seniors). For more information, visit the Steeple Coffeehouse website (steeplecoffeehouse.org).
Tomasso Trattoria will offer a discounted dinner to those going to the show. You can get details and see the menu here.
