On Wednesday Algonquin will play host to the annual Massachusetts Association for Jazz Education (MAJE) Jazz Festival. Ensembles from five area high schools will join Algonquin for clinics and performances throughout the afternoon and evening.
The public is invited to attend the festival. You can see a full schedule here, but the following are the performance times for Algonquin’s two ensembles:
- Algonquin Jazz II – Performance 3:00pm, Clinic 3:30pm, Awards Ceremony 5:00pm
- Algonquin Jazz I – Performance 7:30pm, Clinic 8:00pm, Awards Ceremony 8:30pm
Tickets are $5 each ($3 for seniors and students). Proceeds benefit the good work of MAJE. Concessions will be available.
