Last month the Knights of Columbus celebrated St. Patrick’s day with a scholarship raffle fundraiser, and they sent along this recap.
On March 23, 2013, The members of Council 119, “Phil Sheridan Council” cooked a fantastic Irish Dinner and held a drawing for the winners of the Fr. Tom Garlick Memorial Scholarship. The $1,000 first prize winner was Bob Mealey; $750 second prize winner was Bud McCabe; and $250 third prize winner was Ellen Kluge.
Congratulations to all those that won, and thank you for supporting the Scholarship for the High School seniors of St. Matthew and St. Anne’s Church. Applications for four $500 scholarships will be available at the entrances of the St. Matthew and St. Anne’s Church in April and be awarded in May.
