Robert Coolidge White, 59, of Westborough and formerly of Southborough, died on Thursday, April 18, at Oak Knoll Healthcare Center following a short battle with cancer.
Bob was a graduate of Algonquin Regional High School, class of 71 and received his bachelors degree from Nichol’s College in Dudley in 1975. He was the president of White Hardware in Framingham before he became an assistant manager at Home Depot, where he worked for a number of years.
Bob liked to refer to himself as a beach bum as he enjoyed vacations to Florida and Cape Cod. He was a history buff, an avid reader, enjoyed antique car shows and Kayaking He is survived by his ex-wife and best friend Nancy (Bashaw) White of Westborough; his children, Kathy Reif and her husband Roberto of Seattle; Lori White of Waltham; Daniel White of Framingham; his sisters, Shirley Hart of Maple Valley, WA; Marjorie White of Southborough; his granddaughter Samara Reif and several cousins. He is predeceased by his parents, Donald and Elizabeth Betty (Jackson) White.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, April 23, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St. (Rte 30) Southborough. A funeral service will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
