The Southborough Library Genealogy Club meets on Thursday to talk about writing a family history book your relatives will actually want to read. Here’s more:
The Southborough Library Genealogy Club will meet Thursday, May 16, at 7:00 p.m. at the Library, 25 Main Street, Southborough. Do your relatives’ eyes glaze over when looking at a typical published genealogy? Discover how easy and fun it is to write your family’s story in short, manageable snippets that will make the reading a pleasure.
This months topic will be presented by Sandra Goodwin, past president of the Massachusetts Society of Genealogists, who has been researching her family’s history since 1992. Besides researching, she also speaks at local, regional, and national conferences and taught family history writing and genealogy classes at various local venues.
Southborough Library Genealogy Club meetings are free and open to the public and are appropriate for all ages and all skill levels. Bring a neighbor or a cousin!
